Dr. Zory Shaposhnik is a biologist and molecular pharmacologist focusing on the therapeutic development of vault nanoparticles. He received his undergraduate degree (B.S in Biology) and graduate degree (Ph.D. in Molecular and Medical Pharmacology) from UCLA where his studied the role of macrophage colony stimulating factors in atherosclerosis.
Dr. Shaposhnik works on improving the production, isolation and biodistribution of recombinant vault particles. He also has a significant interest in studying vaults using animal models to better understand the function of endogenous vaults.
