Upendra has joined the Rome lab for his second postdoc after working for 18 months at Johns Hopkins University. There he worked with Dr. PA Campochiaro and studied the molecular mechanism of oxidative stress induced retinal degeneration. He has his Ph.D. from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Dehli.
