First International Vault Research Group Meeting

The First International Vault Research Group Meeting was held May 16-18, 2002, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The meeting, which was well-attendended by vault researchers around the world, featured an excellent exchange between basic and applied research scientists and clinicians from different disciplines. Major subjects included vault structure, vault components: MVP/LRP, vPARP, TEP1 and vRNAs, the various KO mouse models, MVP gene regulation as well as the involvement of vaults with intracellular transport, nerve terminals, immune responsiveness, and clinical drug resistance.
